Housed in a historic 18th-century setting, the hotel boasts a 16-meter swimming pool overlooking the historic and oenological heritage of Tournon and L'Hermitage, 16 rooms including 4 suites with all modern comforts, peaceful gardens for savoring, nibbling and relaxing, a gym, meeting and seminar rooms on a human scale, a tasting cellar, and a "Gabriel" bar with its own spring, opening onto an interior patio.
Guests stay here to celebrate the art of living, through the history of the place, its town, the richness of the surrounding nature and the relationships that are forged.
The 16 m pool, with its exceptional view of the Hermitage hill, is a unique place to relax and unwind. The pool is exclusively reserved for hotel residents, but the bar is open to outside guests (booking required).
The hotel's gardens, subtly nestled into the hillside of the mansion, are ideal for contemplation. The view of the Vercors, the Collégiale St Julien and the Château-Musée de Tournon is spectacular. Roses, secular yew trees, Indian lilac and wisteria are all part of the decor and an invitation to relax.
The hotel bar "Le Gabriel", imagined as a modern haven with the patina of yesteryear, benefits from a real water source, and opens onto the hotel's interior patio. The bar is a place for sharing: wines mainly from the Burgundy-Rhône Valley region, local beers, champagnes from winegrowers and a "Carte du Grignotage" featuring quality local flavors, provide an alternative dining experience, served in the gardens, the patio or in the bar (accessible to non-resident guests - by reservation only).
The place has become a strong marker of wine tourism in the Rhône Valley. More than a promise, it's a shared joy...
(L'Hôtel de la Villeon reminds us that alcohol abuse is dangerous to your health)
