Moulin Cornille - Olive oil cooperative mill in the Baux valley

The Moulin Cornille olive oil mill welcomes you to a 17th-century construction, which has been devoted to making olive oil since the very beginning.

Packaging from 25CL to 5L from 24€. Free visits on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11am from Easter to the end of September (minimum 5 people) on reservation.

The mill has been standing at the heart of the Baux-de-Provence valley since 1685, and is one of the biggest mills in France. The mill is well known for countless reasons: attachment to the land, ancient know-how, classified traditional manufacturing methods and modern management techniques. The mill produces a range of 7 award-winning olive oils, including the famous PDO Vallées des Baux-de-Provence - Matured olives (Fruité Noir (black fruity))

The mill has been a cooperative mill since 1924. The character of the olive oils produced in Baux-de-Provence valley is thanks to the blend of 5 varieties of olives that grow on this unique terroir: Salonenque, Grossane, Béruguette also known as Aglandau, Verdale des Bouches du Rhône and Picholine).

The mill specialises in 'fruité noir' (black fruity) olive oil that is mild, with aromas of black olive, cocoa, and sourdough bread. It also makes a 'fruité vert' (green fruity) olive oil, organic oil, and single-variety oils from Picholine and Grossane olives.

The mill has a great shop with regional products such as jams (Confitures de Mr Camous) honey (Mas Blanc), olives from the Baux valley, etc. And a wide range of gift boxes full of goodies.

Visitors can explore our storehouses on a free, guided tour, on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11am, from Easter to the end of September.
There are, of course, opportunities to sample our PDO Vallées des Baux-de-Provence olive oil, certified 'Huile de France', organic and single olive variety oils (Grossane and Picholine).
These olive oils are made using fresh, crushed olives, that have not been kept in storage.
