For the first time in French gastronomic history, three major regions, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, have joined forces to launch a new tourist destination dedicated to gastronomy and the discovery of local wines and products: la Vallée de la Gastronomie - France®. It is natural for these three regions ranked in the top 4 Michelin-starred regions in France.
Just like the National 6 and National 7, a symbol of holiday departures and now world-famous since the great starred chefs have established their restaurants there, La Vallée de la Gastronomie® highlights this ancient Roman road. It represents a synthesis of the agricultural, gastronomic and wine-growing wealth of the three regions and the confirmation of a shared passion for excellence.
