Vallée de la Gastronomie : from the Beaujolais Vineyards to Tournon-sur-Rhône

Explore the Beaujolais vineyard and Juliénas, Fleurie and Moulin-à-Vent vintage wines in a converted VW 1964 campervan, known as the Wine Tasting Truck. Winegrower Thierry will show you how he works the vine and how the plants are grown according to reasonable and organic farming practices. You'll then be able to tasting the estate's wines out in the vineyard, served with cured meats and cheeses.

You can expect a warm welcome and elegant local cuisine, in an establishment where famous artists have contributed to the decor, such as the fresco by Alain Girel, a world-renowned ceramicist.

The Château de Corcelles was built in the 15th century on a medieval fortress on the gateway to the Beaujolais region. An audio guide will take you through the old wine storehouses, the park, the Renaissance-style inner courtyard, the kitchens with their monumental fireplace, the dungeons and the flamboyant Gothic chapel. After the visit, you will be able to taste the château's wines across the Beaujolais white and rosé vintages, Beaujolais Villages and Brouilly. Children can discover the château by taking a quiz to test their knowledge of aromas by tasting syrups blindfolded.

Take part in eight fun-filled introductory wine-tasting workshops. Discover the ABCs of wine tasting with quizzes on color, aromas, flavors, the interaction between flavors, tannins, the difference between aromas and flavors, ageing in oak barrels and wine aging...
In the middle of the tour, take a break to watch a video on the history and viticultural production of Château de Pizay.
In the last 3 workshops, you can start practicing with wine, before moving on to the "Discovery/Tasting" area on the garden floor to put into practice all the knowledge you've acquired along the way.

This fortified medieval village overlooking the Azergues valley takes visitors on a timeless journey. Its charm lies in its narrow medieval streets and listed, restored historic monuments.

Enter the village through the Porte de Nizy, then stroll through its bucolic alleyways and discover some beautiful golden stone houses. Take note of the year's highlights: the Mechanical Music Festival in the streets, with over a hundred participants, on the first weekend in September, Christmas cribs to be discovered throughout the village, and in December, temporary exhibitions at the Maison Commune (a 15th-century residence).

This hill, where the Romans established a castrum at the start of the Gallic War, was located on the Iter magnum road linking the port of Anse to the Loire, and was open to pedestrians, pack animals and horsemen. Iconium later became Oingt.

The Halles (indoor market hall) was opened in February 1971 by Louis Pradel, and then renovated in 2006. The roof is covered in grass and greenery. From March 1859 to January 1971, this market hall was located at Place des Cordeliers, in the 2nd 'arrondissement' of Lyon.
The roof will soon be transformed into a huge public garden, and will be open to visitors.

Every day, the chef Joseph Viola and his teams revisit traditional cuisine with finesse and elegance, drawing on our culinary heritage. 2009 World Champion Pâté en Croûte, pike quenelle with Nantua sauce, Bresse poultry with morel mushrooms, tarte tatin with Saint-Genix praline... Here, the product is king.

Here you can see the thermal baths, workshops, homes and shops unearthed since 1967. The museum is divided into four areas: the history of Vienne in Antiquity, the economy and crafts, mosaics and daily life in the Roman home.
