Not far from the Roche de Solutré, classified as a Grand Site de France, Domaines Auvigue has a long history in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation. The vineyards stretch right up to the edge of the Mâconnais region, with vines nestling in the village of Chardonnay. Born in the 1940s, the estate really took off in the 1970s, inspired by the multiple expressions of Chardonnay on these exceptional terroirs. It was in 1976 that the estate joined Maison Jean Loron. Over the years, the style has become more refined. Céline Hirsch in the cellar and Clémence Perrachon in the vines take a meticulous approach to ensuring that the wines have great minerality and tension.
"Initiation into the Mâconnais", "History of the Land" or "Exceptional Vineyard": whatever the offer that appeals to you, your journey will take you to our cellar, located in the heart of an old Romanesque church dating from the 12th century, which has been completely renovated.
