Mr. Laurent Moreau is a passionate and inventive oyster farmer. Since 2015, this producer is exclusively involved in the breeding of oysters, to offer you a quality oyster.

Laurent Moreau produces the "Perle de Carteau ®" in the open sea in the cove of Carteau and he makes a fleshy Camargue oyster with an exceptional taste of hazelnut with a rounded and jagged shape.
Pleasant to taste and easy to open.

Their annual production capacity is currently 80 tons of oysters.

Oyster of Camargue, the Pearl of Carteau is raised in zone of category B, it spends at least 48 hours in basins of purified water to ensure an excellent sanitary quality.
Their spat (baby oysters) are of French origin and grow in water that is very rich in nutrients, giving them their taste and fleshiness.

In order to offer better products, Mr. Moreau has changed his equipment to the latest technology.

You can find Laurent Moreau's products in the shellfish purification stations of Port Saint Louis du Rhône (Camargue Coquillages, Les Viviers de Carteau, Thalassina or Joaline Coquillage), O' Ptit Ange des Mers (Fos sur Mer) on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30am to 1pm and in La Couronne on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30am to 1pm.
