Château de Beaupré
The Château de Beaupré is one of the historic vineyards of the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, just 10 minutes away from Aix town centre. This estate has belonged to the Double barons descendants since 1855.
It was originally a coaching inn and the first wines were made here in 1892.
Since 2013, Phanette Double has been producing organic wines on the estate. At the heart of Provence, in an ideal environment, she makes red wines suitable for laying down with powerful notes of red fruit, deep and delicate white wines and of course rosé wines, with a full-bodied, generous character. Her brother, Maxime Double, produces more creative vintage wines. He focuses his work and his passion on blending grape varieties! Free from all constraints, just like a perfume maker or a chef, he gives free rein to his imagination to create exceptional wines from selected grapes and terroirs all over France.
Phanette and Maxime are the 6th generation of the family on the estate, and the two of them make a fine pair! As can be seen in their wines, which are enjoyed in the finest restaurants in France and abroad, and have even been chosen to be served at the Elysée Palace in Paris.
