Every day, according to the seasons, the gastronomic restaurant of the hotel La Magdeleine in Gémenos pays tribute to the flavors and scents of Provence through local products carefully selected by the starred Chef Mathias Dandine.

At the same time, Chef and Master of the house, Mathias Dandine welcomes you with happiness and warmth in his starred restaurant in the Bouches-du-Rhône which brings to life the arts of the table in a contemporary Provencal spirit.

When you arrive in the dining room, you take your place around a perfectly laid table. Everything seems so simple and at the same time so refined. The Chef has chosen a white service for the dishes, extremely refined to enhance the product even more; another is dedicated to the sweet.

The scattered silver cutlery, like the glassware, brings back the time of the old houses and gives the table a very elegant old-fashioned charm.

La Magdeleine: The Provencal art of living by Mathias Dandine

La Magdeleine concentrates all the qualities of a charming stopover. Located in the heart of the Sainte-Baume Regional Natural Park, amidst vineyards and olive trees, Mathias Dandine hotel and restaurant are comfortably furnished in a splendid 18th-century bastide. Guests will appreciate the Chef's talents is in the shade of the century-old plane trees. Local discoveries, tastings and initiations guarantee a stay in the heart of nature with all its flavours! The package from 540€ for two people includes:- A welcoming aperitif - Dinner in 4 acts with food, wine and olive oil pairings - One night in a double room (breakfast included) - A short cooking lesson A visit / tasting at Domaine de la Michèle in Auriol (3 hours) or a botanical walk in the heart of  Sainte Baume (2 hours) (or other partners) Guests will discover a house steeped in history, an 18th-century bastide, former property of the Marquis d'Albertas former property, which successively became a hospital, an orphanage, a hotel and a command post. He will share Mathias Dandine cuisine, referenced in the Michelin Guide and Gault et Millau, a Provencal and gourmet cuisine with strong tastes, highlighting exceptional local producers know-how. He will meet the Chef and his team, Jean-François Margier, Domaine de la Michèle (organic wine and olive oil producer) owner or Cécile (botanical guide).
