The Confiserie d'Entrecasteaux is one of the oldest calissons factories that has kept a traditional production. Manufacturing workshop, store, confectionery, pastry shop and tea room at Les Halles 1889 in Eguilles near Aix-en-Provence.

The secrets and ancestral know-how of one of the oldest confectioneries in the region, revealed in the heart of a unique place in Provence.
The Confiserie d'Entrecasteaux, created in 1889, has established its workshop in the heart of an atypical covered market, the Halles 1889.
It is thus possible to see the chefs working on their production behind the glass roof: fresh calissons and pastries, made with quality raw materials.
In front of the public, the calissons are made with candied melon from Provence and almonds harvested in the Mediterranean basin. The whole, finely crushed, is placed on a bed of unleavened bread, then delicately covered with royal ice.
Only a few meters from the workshop is the tea room, where you can enjoy these sweets from Tuesday to Sunday. In the store, you will also find pastries and desserts, Provencal sweets, sugared almonds, fine chocolates, nougats, artisanal cookies and other specialties...
The house of Entrecasteaux was elected "Best Calissons of Aix" in the Provence competition, obtaining twice the first prize awarded by the starred chefs of the region.
