A relaxing, contemporary place at the heart of Burgundy’s vineyard

Le Charlemagne

In the heart of Burgundy, in Pernand-Vergelesses, your restaurant Le Charlemagne opens its doors to lovers of food and travel. After a few steps in our Japanese garden, a place of tranquillity that invites you to relax, you can take a seat in a warm, contemporary space, and enjoy the pleasant view over the vineyards for which the region is famous. A delicious treat for the eyes and taste buds in an intimate, soothing setting. Chef Rudy Villien gives priority to his cuisine: sensitive energies, creativity and rigour. All with one aim in mind: a sensory invitation to travel, offering refined, creative and daring cuisine, with an expertise in balancing flavours. For an immersive experience, close to the team, Le Charlemagne invites you to dine "on the other side of the mirror" by choosing one of the tables d'hôtes set up in the kitchen. For a more intimate setting, the Petit Salon is available for lunches, dinners with family, friends or seminars. Please contact the service provider directly for prices and menus.

A successful blend of Burgundian and Asian specialities

Chef Laurent Peugeot skilfully combines different flavours and textures in his Michelin-starred restaurant in Pernand-Vergelesses, along the Route des Grands Crus (Route of the Great Wines). After working with some of the region’s greatest establishments, and spending five years in Japan, this creator of great taste had some original and inspired recipes to share. In the kitchen, the chef concocts his cuisine by focusing his efforts on harnessing energy, on creativity and precision.
