Le Charlemagne
A relaxing, contemporary place at the heart of Burgundy’s vineyard
The restaurant offers a clear and zen decor, with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Pernand-Vergelesses vineyards and the Corton hill. Laurent Peugeot is a craftsman of flavours and a technician at the service of detail; he invites his guests to a culinary crossbreeding, between Burgundy and Japanese influences, to a mixture of flavours, textures and cultures. For an immersive experience, close to the team, Le Charlemagne invites you to dine "on the other side of the mirror" by choosing one of the guest tables in the kitchen. For more intimacy, the Petit Salon is at your disposal for your lunches, dinners with family, friends, seminars... On the terrace: the silence, the softness of Burgundy and the light on the vine alongside the bamboo.
A successful blend of Burgundian and Asian specialities
Chef Laurent Peugeot skilfully combines different flavours and textures in his Michelin-starred restaurant in Pernand-Vergelesses, along the Route des Grands Crus (Route of the Great Wines). After working with some of the region’s greatest establishments, and spending five years in Japan, this creator of great taste had some original and inspired recipes to share. In the kitchen, the chef concocts his cuisine by focusing his efforts on harnessing energy, on creativity and precision.
