An old tower comprising three small storeys, each measuring 13m², situated at the foot of the village of Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, in a very peaceful setting.
On the ground floor is a double bedroom with a shower room, a wardrobe and double doors opening onto the garden. On the first floor is the living area with a well-equipped kitchen, a table and stools, a sofa, a TV and a wood-burning stove. On the top floor is a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with a washbasin.
There is a large garden with terraces, a barbecue, parasols and an orchard.

The house has been fully renovated and decorated by local craftsmen, using soft colours to create a relaxing atmosphere.
The wood-burning stove heats the house on cool evenings, and we provide the wood for your use.
Flavigny-sur-Ozerain is listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Set in the rolling countryside of Burgundy, this small village has plenty to offer, including restaurants, a post office, shops and, of course, the factory producing the famous aniseed sweets, Les Anis de Flavigny... The village is also known for the film *Chocolat*, filmed in 2000; the scenes set in the village and the chocolate factory were all shot here…
The tower is situated at the bottom of the village, accessible via a very narrow road and with virtually no neighbours; if you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the ideal spot.
The garden has mature fruit trees, including apple and cherry trees. We hope you’ll pick and enjoy the fruit, and perhaps even bake a pie or two; all the necessary kitchen equipment is provided in our fully-equipped kitchen.
There are two terraces for dining or relaxing: the first is just outside the kitchen, and the other is on the lower level, featuring a sofa and armchairs with cushions.
The garden isn’t fully fenced, but if you have a dog that’s happy on a long lead, there are plenty of shady trees to tie it to.
There is also a lean-to where you can store bikes and car roof boxes, and if your dog likes to sleep in an outdoor kennel, this is the perfect spot.
This unusual house may not be for everyone; if you have reduced mobility or very young children, the stairs and steps may pose a problem.
The basic price is for two people sharing the double bedroom; if you’d like bed linen for the bed upstairs, there’ll be an additional charge of €15.

Everywhere, quiet spaces invite you to relax, enjoy the company of friends and get away from it all: the various lounges overlooking the garden, the library dressed in light oak with a beautiful fireplace, the Charles X French-style billiards room, and even a regulation smoking room.

The hotel is arranged over four levels, served by the emblematic oak staircase tower.

Owned by the Hospices Civils de Beaune, this remarkably well-preserved heritage site was founded in 1443 thanks to the patronage of Nicolas Rolin, Chancellor to the Duke of Burgundy, and his last wife Guigone de Salins. Conceived as a "palace for the poor", the charitable institution - entrusted by the donors to the good care of the Dames Hospitalières - remained in operation until the early 1970s, before a modern hospital, better suited to developments in healthcare, was built on the outskirts of Beaune's historic centre.

Known for its polychrome glazed tile roofs, the Hôtel-Dieu is one of the few remaining examples of late medieval civil architecture, and an important place of remembrance of hospital history. In 2026, we are in MOVEMENT(S) to appreciate the "bodies being cared for" and the "caring bodies". From medical advances to the current approaches of healthcare professionals, from transformations to the built heritage to restorations and interior fittings, from the creation of the Wine Sale to film shoots, from meetings with Hospices Civils de Beaune hospital staff to exchanges with enthusiasts of the site, the Hôtel-Dieu can be seen, heard, touched and tasted.

MOVEMENT(S) of hands to care for, create and transcribe, of mandibles to savour, of lips to express themselves or remain silent, of bodies that move or atrophy, of buildings and objects that undergo the test of time and climate, of eyes that observe or scrutinise, of an ear that listens, of another that interprets, of arms that open or close...

Thanks to the use of visual, auditory, and sensory means, you will be able to discover all the stages of transforming mustard seeds. While the Fallot mustard mill has preserved the traditional and ancestral method of production, grinding the seeds with a stone mill, it is now proud to invite you to experience new activities and unique sensations (10€ per person, 8€ for children aged 10 to 18, and free for those under 10)
