Château Signac

Bagnols-sur-Cèze

Château Signac is a winegrowing estate on an old fortified farm that was built by the Benedictines in the 10th century.

The Château's 20 hectares of vines are set on the hillsides of a limestone mountain called the Dent de Signac and the terroir here is unique: the limestone sediments eroded from the mountain have blended in with the marine sediments at the bottom of the valley, providing delicate, light wines.

The Château Signac produces three different appellations:
AOC Côtes du Rhône
AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages Chusclan
PGI Côteaux du Pont du Gard

The estate is open to visitors and organises wine tastings all year round from Tuesday to Saturday. Whether you prefer white, red or rosé wines, there's something for everyone!

Visitors can choose to stay a while longer thanks to the holiday gite inside the historic house, surrounded by the grapevines and forests. You'll be woken by the sound of the birds singing in the morning and you'll hear the chorusing cicadas all day long... all of this, just a few minutes from the main heritage sites of the Gard and surrounding region!
