Sepia

Marseille

The Sepia restaurant opened its doors in March 2017, close to the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde basilica and at the top of Puget hill, in the Jardin des Colonnes.

Price
Adult menu: 38€.

The outdated snack bar was completely renovated and decorated by architect Olivier Sabran and graphic artist Julien Bouvet to reflect the style of cuisine on offer here: simple yet elegant.

The copper details add a sepia colour, reflecting the name of the restaurant and the chef's favourite item of cookware, the copper pot.

All year round, you can come here for lunch or dinner, in a subdued and inviting atmosphere. There are two shaded terrace areas overlooking the grounds so you can enjoy your meal under the pine trees on sunny days.
Inside, the huge bay windows offer a breath-taking view of Marseille harbour.

Below the restaurant, there's a vegetable patch with vegetables and aromatic herbs, which will soon be open to customers, to come and simply embrace the present moment.
